About the game
Tetris is the definitive falling-block puzzle. Seven tetromino shapes drop from the top; rotate and place them to complete horizontal lines, which then clear.
How to play
Move pieces left/right and rotate them as they fall. Fill an entire row to clear it and score. The game speeds up as you progress.
Tips & strategy

Advanced guide
Success in Tetris comes from tidy stacking. Aim for a flat, low board so you can always place the next piece. Reserve the I-piece for line clears, and avoid creating deep wells that only an I-piece can fill. As speed rises, rely on muscle memory for rotations.
History & origins
Designed by Alexey Pajitnov in 1984, Tetris is one of the most influential games ever made.
